  • PIONEER DEVELOPMENT COMPANY, PAUL BENEDETTI, AND NORTHLAND PUBLIC FINANCE: To support the formation of the Urban Renewal Authority which will help the town shape development to match the community's vision
  • SAN LUIS VALLEY HOUSING COALITION: To conduct a valley-wide and local study to determine housing needs
  • ACTIONLAB 360: To support the development of youth entrepreneurship and civic engagement
  • DEPARTMENT OF LOCAL AFFAIRS: Providing grant programs like More Housing Now and Local Planning Capacity that really make these projects possible

    Job Title: Utility Worker (Water, Gas, Electric) Location: Town of Center, CO Pay: $21 – $23/hr DOE Employment Type: Full-Time

    Description: The Town of Center is hiring a Utility Worker to assist with the operation, maintenance, and repair of our water, gas, and electric systems. This hands-on position involves working with utility lines, meters, and related infrastructure, responding to service calls, and performing inspections.

    Qualifications:

    · High school diploma or GED

    · Valid Colorado Driver’s License (Class B CDL preferred or within 6 months)

    · Ability to perform physical labor and lift up to 75 lbs

    · Experience in utilities is preferred but not required

    · Willingness to complete training/certifications in water, gas, or electric
