  • PIONEER DEVELOPMENT COMPANY, PAUL BENEDETTI, AND NORTHLAND PUBLIC FINANCE: To support the formation of the Urban Renewal Authority which will help the town shape development to match the community's vision
  • SAN LUIS VALLEY HOUSING COALITION: To conduct a valley-wide and local study to determine housing needs
  • ACTIONLAB 360: To support the development of youth entrepreneurship and civic engagement
  • DEPARTMENT OF LOCAL AFFAIRS: Providing grant programs like More Housing Now and Local Planning Capacity that really make these projects possible

    Mountain Valley Transit will be transitioning from route based to on demand.

    How will this benefit you?

    • Door to door service
    • More flexibility
    • Less time spent in vehicle during transit

    One call is all! To schedule your ride, contact dispatch at 719-530-8980.

    Important!

    You must have your transportation scheduled the previous business day prior to service.
    No same day service!

    Come visit Hands on Center's Dia De Muertos show between October 22nd & November 1st! View art submitted by local artists, as well as Community Altars created by your friends and neighbors in the SLV. Doors are open daily from 1-4pm.

    Join the students and faculty of the Center School District for a Trunk or Treat / Dia De Los Muertos celebration on October 30th, from 5:30-7:30 PM

    Trunk-or-Treat begins at 5:30pm in the Center High School parking lot. Dinner and entertainment will follow in the school cafeteria at 6:30pm. Cost is $5 per adult, $3 for a student, and $1 for a CVYC student.

    El Tronco-o-Golosina comienza a las 5:30 pm en el estacionamiento de Center High School. La cena y el entretenimiento continuarán en la cafetería de la escuela a las 6:30 pm. El costo es de $5 por adulto, $3 por estudiante y $1 por estudiante de CVYC.
