Town of Center Projects:

• Discussions surrounding forming an urban renewal authority (URA)

• Envision plan for 90-Acre North 90 Addition owned by the town

• Youth Entrepreneurship and Innovation Club

• Streetscape beautification and murals

• Summer solstice celebration for the community (June 18-19)

Key Places:

• Development of 90 Acres to increase housing access

• Frontier Drive In

• Redevelopment of downtown historic buildings

Partnerships:

• With the Small Business Development Center: To create a computer lending program, which will eventually lead to a Town of Center Entrepreneurship + Innovation Club

• San Luis Valley Housing Coalition: To conduct a valley-wide and local study to determine housing needs

• Colorado Housing and Finance Authority: To support local place-making and entrepreneurship efforts, including activation and beautification

• Mass Design: To develop a proposal for assistance to plan for a 90-acre parcel with housing, broadband, and a civic and educational campus
